SARASOTA — The Suncoast Alliance for Lifelong Learning, a non-profit organization founded for the purpose of increasing lifelong learning opportunities, is to host an event that offers samples of its course sessions to attendants on Thursday, September 10.
Called the Lifelong Learning Showcase, the event will take place at Suncoast Technical College in Sarasota. Attendants can choose to sample up to four of the showcase's thirty-two course samples.
The courses are provided by educators and other experts from SCALL's four founding organizations: Adult and Community Enrichment at Suncoast Technical College, Lifelong Learning Academy, Longboat Key Education Center, and Pierian Spring Academy
The event will also serve as a fundraiser for the organization. Tickets are $75 and include coffee, lunch and four showcase sessions. Tickets are limited to the first 225 registrants due to space limitations. Registration closes September 8.
