State Government AMI Privateers to Again Hold Annual Independence Day Parade

ANNA MARIA ISLAND — Starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, the Anna Maria Island Privateers will host their annual 4th of July parade through the entire island. The show will start at Coquina Beach before ending at the North Anna Maria City Pier.

The parade is free and open to all comers, though donations are accepted. Live music, food specials and adult beverages will be had from noon to 4 p.m. Kids' classic cover band Steel Relic and Crossover will be performing.

Following its end, an after party will be held at the AMI Beach Cafe on Manatee Public Beach. There, the Scholarship recipients of over $11,000 will be announced.
