Susan Edgerly Billiam, 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2023, after a long illness. Sue was born on April 8, 1945, to Francis and Fred Edgerly in California. Following her mother's death, she was raised by her Aunt Betty and Uncle Dan Rineveld in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
She graduated from high school in Kalamazoo and married Rich Perry with whom she had a son, Fred (Sarah). She married Marshall Billiam in 1986 and worked in the superintendent's office of the Schoolcraft School System for 20 years. Following their retirement, Sue and Marshall moved to Parrish, Florida, where they have lived for the past 20 years.
Sue was predeceased by her parents, her sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne and Basil Weaver and a stepdaughter, Lana Perry. In addition to Marshall and Fred, Sue is survived by her first husband Rich, a sister Ellie (John) Newton and five stepdaughters, Gay Monroe, Sue (Kurt) Lockhart, Carrie Billiam (Mitch Long), Jenny Billiam and Michelle (Bart) Lester and numerous cousins. Sue was most proud of her grandchildren Alex, Thomas and Evan Perry, Harrison and Austin Long, Dylan and Foster Boak and Owen and Livia Lester.
