Thanksgiving "Home Alone" Turkey Trolley Needs Your Help

SARASOTA -- Since 2007, volunteers have been helping to offset seasonal depression and bring joy to those home alone for the holiday by delivering a spirited holiday meal aboard the Sarasota Trolley, but this year the event is in danger. The event is still in need of donations and volunteers. The event covers Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Venice.

Organizers say they are still in need of $2,000 to meet the minimum goal and stress that there are no administrative costs – 100% of the costs goes into the project.
