MANATEE COUNTY – During a Tuesday morning work session, the BOCC will discuss with the Children's Services Advisory Board "potential priorities for the community as relates to applications for funding from the Children's Services millage." The Manatee School Board will also workshop (its discussion regarding safety and security in the district's elementary schools has been cancelled) then convene for a meeting on Tuesday, when it will hold a public hearing on an amendment to the district's Risk Management and Insurance policy. The Bradenton City Council will hold a special meeting on Wednesday for the purpose of ratifying the contract between the city and AFSCME, followed by a workshop. A Manatee Port Authority meeting will take place on Thursday.
