All League of Women Voters of Manatee County events on Anna Maria Island this next week are cancelled. City of Bradenton, City of Palmetto, and Manatee School Board forums are still scheduled to take place.
Canceled events include the two candidate forums below and the "Amendments and Referenda on the 2024 Ballot" presentation at the Island Library on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 6 PM.
The following forums will take place as scheduled:
City of Bradenton Council Ward 5 Candidate Forum
Live in Zoom: Tues, Oct 1 at Noon
Pamela M. Coachman, incumbent, and Iris Thomas Garcia want your vote for the City of Bradenton Council Ward 5 seat.

Heather Felton and Mark Stanoch want your vote for School Board member District 1.

Thank you for including Palmetto. We often get overlooked, and there is little media coverage about us. It also doesn't help that the city doesn't even have a social media account and their website has no current news.
