Vincent Christopher Alexander, Sr., was born to Vincent Alexander and Lillian Woodie Alexander in Bradenton, Florida, on September 22, 1969. His father preceded him in death. Chris was a great son, husband, father, and brother. During his marriage to his ex-wife, Dana Sims, their son, Vincent Christopher Alexander, Jr., was born.
As a child, Chris attended St. John First Baptist Inst. Church, where he was baptized. He attended public school in Manatee County. At Manatee High School, he played saxophone in the Marching Canes Band. After high school, he chose to join the Army. When he enlisted, he scored high on the ASVAB test and the Army waived two years of college and placed him in their military intelligence program, where he became an esteemed member of the Military Intelligence Corps. After basic training, he was recommended to attend West Point, however, he didn't want to make the Army a career, and so he decided to attend college once his tour was over. Since he was eight, he has had a passion for computers and decided to attend college. He attended to University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, and earned a BS degree in electrical engineering. After graduating and until his death, he worked for Raytheon Technologies now RTX Corporation in Virginia.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Vincent C. Alexander, Jr., of Waldorf, Maryland; mother, Lillian Woodie Sims of Bradenton, Florida; sister, Cassandra Alexander of Orlando, Florida; aunts, Janie Davis (Aaron) of Bradenton, Florida, Marion Woodie of Palmetto, Florida, and Linda Turner of Graham, Washington; uncle, Abdullah Ali Muhammad (Patricia) of Tacoma, Washington; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends, including special friend, April Channel Graves of Annapolis, Maryland.
