BRADENTON--A unique opportunity for a photography tour of Robinson Preserve highlights this weekend’s activities in Bradenton. Nature lovers can get out and help the environment at Emerson Point Preserve. The Asolo Repertory Theater will hold a panel discussion on one of its most popular productions and the Bradenton Gladiators go for its fifth win in a row Saturday night at the PAL Bowl in minor league football.
Robinson Preserve Shutter Stroll Photography Wagon Tour on Saturday. This is a one time only special Shutter Stroll using the preserve's wagon. The program will run from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and will include a one hour wagon trip guided by Melissa Cain Nell, from the Manatee County Natural Resources Department, and then an hour hike with Dotty Motta, master photographer, during super low tide at this northernmost point. This is a great opportunity to get out and see the preserve and take some great photos.
Only a few spaces are left, and they will be given out on a first come, first-serve basis. To grab one, please email melissa.nell@mymanatee.org .
This wagon tour will cost the regular fee of $3 for adults and, just like our regular Shutter Stroll programs, is attended for participants age 13 and older. We will be disembarking from the wagon, and this will require moving up a short set of stairs, and walking around the beach.
