Theresa Marie Hanna, age 85, of Bradenton, passed away on November 11, 2022, her Birthday!
Terry was born in Boston, MA, and moved to Florida in 1971, residing in Ft. Lauderdale and later relocating to Bradenton, FL in 1978. The majority of her career was spent working in the grocery industry, serving in leadership roles as a Deli Manager for large food chains. Her most proud accomplishment and greatest commitment was to her family. She was devoted to her late husband Robert A. Hanna and cherished the memories of raising her 5 children, along with enjoying the next chapter of having grandchildren.
For those who knew Terry, family was important. She advocated for togetherness and always ensured a gathering for holidays, and all special occasions. Sunday dinner was a must, and she carried that tradition. She was a fabulous cook and always had the home setting for a great party or get-together. The more people around Terry, the happier she was. Terry loved her friends. The words they use to describe her are fitting, "A great lady, Always a smile, Fun, Feisty." She loved music, sunsets, dining, traveling, politics and again, spending time with her family and friends.
Terry is predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Hanna and her granddaughter Theresa L. Hanna. She is survived by her children, Marie Hanna, Diane Hanna, Robert Hanna, Patricia Hanna (David Mulligan) and James Hanna (Lisa). She is survived by her grandchildren, Derek Kuhl, Robert Hanna, Joseph Hanna and Caleb Hanna.
There will be a Catholic Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 9:30 AM at Ss Peter & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church. A Celebration of life will follow immediately from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Palma Sola Shores Clubhouse 2107 Palma Sola Boulevard, Unit 102 Bradenton FL.
