Vote Tuesday for August Election

Posted
BRADENTON – Polls will be open Tuesday for the August election. In addition to several primary races, three seats will be up for grabs on the Manatee School Board. In two of those races, only two candidates are running, ensuring that a winner will be selected and no November runoff will be required.

In the third, there will be four candidates, with the top two moving into a November primary, providing no one win a majority of votes Tuesday. Remember, school board races are non-partisan and conducted countywide, so they will appear on all Manatee County ballots, regardless of which district the voter lives in or what party they are registered to.

Voting must be conducted at your assigned precinct. Click here to find out what precinct you are assigned to and see a sample ballot of the races.
