BRADENTON – On Saturday, March 12, the Manatee-Sarasota Astronomy Club will be bringing their telescopes out for their next open Sidewalk Astronomy event, to take place in the north parking lot of Lakewood Ranch Main Street.
The moon in its first quarter phase, Jupiter and its four moons and other objects should be viewable during the event if the weather is clear.
The free event will take place at sunset (just after 6:30 p.m.) and can be attended by anyone. More information can be found at
