I watched the fiasco yesterday. 57 original applicants, down to nine recommended by the consultant and 5 picked on August 8. And somehow Charlie Bishop who didn't apply for the position is the number 2 pick by 4 of the commissioners. Talk about a set up. Why waste peoples time and tax dollars by doing a national search when it's probably going to end up being a promotion from within? KVO (who led the charge for Hopes) is at it again.
