In 2022, I was told a story by a high ranking County official who would know. At the time, GT Bray (KVO district) was renovating the tennis court area. That work included landscape and new palm trees. The story is that, after the palm trees were installed, KVO blew a gasket because the palm trees were not the species he preferred. He blew up and demanded that all of the newly planted trees be ripped out and replaced at a cost of $thousands.
