It’s interesting that this topic, (medians) has come up. I have noticed these median transformations in guess whose district? As they move along what has amazed me is that each has a sprinkler system. The plants are varied in each median but the most interesting item is that each median has two signs indicating that this beautification project was brought to you by your Manatee County Commission! There also are no beautification medians in the lower income areas of the county.

The removal of existing trees is idiotic especially when you replace it with foliage that requires sprinkler systems and hands on maintenance. But then when we widen these roads due to the increased building these “ medians,” will be dug up. I hope they keep their signs!
