No one should have to die by police hands because he is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, if that is the excuse here, unless he is in the midst of assaulting someone or murdering someone, and maybe even not then. Police in America should have a multitude of strategies beyond kneeling on a person's neck to subdue him, especially if he is under the influence, and especially if they are in a team and not attempting to subdue all on their own, like in this situation. We are not in the dark ages. We are supposed to be leaders in the world, smart, and able to handle our problems effectively. We have teams of professionals who could think outside the box and come up with much more humane ways to deal with people who are under the influence. People under the influence do have erratic behaviors sometimes and don't know what they are doing. But the last thing to do is use brute force that is warned against as possibly lethal in the police training manual. Why can't we get this straight in America and stop these unnecessary type killings and help police to be able to handle such situations?
