Report Inappropriate Comments

Dawn, I so appreciate your report on the KVO talk at the Manatee Patriots meeting. I started watching the video recording of KVOs "speech" and honestly did not have the stomach to hear his unsavory ramblings. I agree that his perception of reality is really off. His self centered, braggadocios banter is extremely out of touch with leadership and representation of the citizens. The disrespect and squelching of citizen input is horrible, by not just KVO, yet by all but one current Commissioner. When I sit in on BOCC meetings in person, I am appalled at the disrespect of the Commissioners to citizen comments and even the staff presentations. Many are on their cell phones texting, or talking and laughing between each other, or getting up for snacks and eating during the BOCC meetings. I have taken photos of this while meetings are in session. I encourage more citizens to come and witness this. Thanks also for disclosing Charlie Bishop's use of staff for his personal property purchase research...a blatant violation, and then not providing properly requested documentation through sunshine laws.....horrible.
