14th Street West CRA Providing Incentives To Bring Steakhouse To Local Mall

MANATEE--In a very brief meeting Thursday morning in county chambers, the Manatee County Planning Commission approved an ordinance for an expansion to the Centre Point Commons shopping center at 14th St. W near Cortez Road for a planned Longhorn Steakhouse restaurant. 14th Street West Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) incentives for job creation are expected to be part of the deal to bring the western themed restaurant to the shopping mall.

A discount on County road impact fees is also reportedly included in the incentive to the restaurant company.
