17th Avenue West Bridge Replacement Begins Friday

BRADENTON -- A project to replace the 17th Avenue West Bridge that spans Ware’s Creek will begin on Friday; this will result in the closure of 17th Avenue West from 18th-22nd streets through November.

Replacing the old Ware’s Creek bridges is the City’s contribution to the Ware’s Creek dredging project. The 9th, 12th and 14th avenue bridges have already been replaced.
