MYAKKA CITY – The Sarasota Medieval Fair returns on Saturdays and Sundays from November 1 to 30, transforming Mallaranny Farms in Myakka City into a living medieval village for five weekends of knights, music, and merriment. Visitors will step into history with jousting tournaments, artisan markets, live performances, and family-friendly activities.
Highlights include fan-favorite acts such as Human Combat Chess, the Washing Well Wenches, the New Riders of the Golden Age jousting troupe, and the Knightwings Birds of Prey. Each weekend also offers unique themes, costumed parades, and interactive experiences, ensuring something new for returning guests every weekend, including Viking Invasion Weekend (Nov. 1-2), Heroes & Villains Weekend (Nov. 8-9), and Scottish Highlands Weekend (Nov. 15-16).
The festival village transforms for the holidays on the final two festival weekends with Mystical Realms Weekend (Nov. 22-23) and St. Nicholas Celebration Weekend (Nov. 29–30), blending holiday cheer with medieval traditions to kick off the festive season. All weekend themes and entertainment schedules can be found at www.SarasotaMedievalFair.
“We’re thrilled to welcome guests back for our 21st season,” said Jeremy Croteau, executive producer of the Sarasota Medieval Fair. “This year’s lineup combines beloved traditions with new experiences that make every weekend an exciting adventure.”
