Adele Scanlan, age 86, sadly passed away in Sarasota on Sunday, October 6, 2024, and surrounded by her family. She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on March 23, 1938, the daughter of the late Antonio and Adela (Renta) Farinacci.
She lived in New York, Miami, Naples, Bradenton and lastly at the Pines of Sarasota.
Adele worked as a legal secretary at law firms in New York and in Miami. She was catholic, enjoyed reading and working on crossword puzzles. She was very dedicated to her family and always loved being around them.
Adele is preceded in death by her late husband, Vince Scanlan and siblings, Jorge Farinacci, Nydia Webster, Doris Pitchford, Yvonne Conigliaro.
Left to cherish Adele's bright and loving memory are her daughter, Kim (Jeff) Dulitz; grandchildren Kyle Dulitz, Chase (Shelby) Dulitz, Ridge (Sami) Dulitz and Bryn Dulitz; great grandson, Cameron Ridge, "Adele's Love", Dulitz. Brother, Tony (Andrea) Farinacci and several nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved very much.
