"Addie" Clemente Frank, 93, of Lakewood Ranch, Florida died on December 3, 2022, at The Sheridan of Lakewood Ranch under their exceptional care and the care of Tidewell Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 27 years, Robert Charles Frank of Annandale, Virginia on September 21, 1987.
Born on September 5, 1929, and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Addie was the daughter of the late Isaia and Rosina "Rose" Villani Clemente originally from Avellino, Italy. She spoke Italian before English. She attended West Scranton High School, worked for 16 years at Acme Markets, and raised two daughters. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines, sang a cappella, and was recorded in her own right.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Anne Polchin of Kirkland, Washington and Barbara Jo Franks of Bradenton, Florida. She was lovingly cared for by her daughter Barbara and her son-in-law, Jeff Franks, and her two grandsons, Ryan Eric Franks and Andrew "Drew“ Franks for 20 years. Ryan attends Florida Gulf Coast University. She is also survived by her son-in-law, John Polchin, and grandchildren, Ava Rose Polchin and Reid Philip Polchin of Kirkland, Washington. Ava attends Washington State University. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, John Clemente, Andrew Clemente, Rita Clemente Sparacino, and Natalie Clemente Delfino.
