Alan E. Luck, born on December 31, 1950, in Melrose Park, IL, passed away on August 2, 2024, in Bradenton, Florida. He was a respected figure in the community, known for his kind and hardworking nature.

Alan graduated from Proviso East High School in Maywood, IL, and furthered his education at Manatee Junior College. He built a fulfilling career as a manager in the liquor store business, culminating in his retirement from Alberton's Liquor Store located on Manatee Ave and 75th Street in Bradenton.

Beyond his professional life, Alan was passionate about playing tennis, listening to jazz, playing backgammon, and enjoying wine with an occasional cigar. These hobbies reflected his zest for life and love for leisurely pursuits.

Alan is predeceased by both parents, Eva (Brush) Luck and Albert E. Luck; his brother, Bernard Luck, and his son, Timothy E. Luck.

Alan is survived by his sister, Evelyn Potter (David) of Bradenton; nieces Caryn Potter and Kimberly King (Daren) of Bradenton; nephew David A. Potter (Kellie) of Bradenton; and nephew Brian Luck of Ft. Lauderdale. He also leaves behind numerous great-nieces and nephews who will miss his presence dearly.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, an organization close to Alan's heart.

The family has entrusted Brown and Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, located at 604 43rd Street W, Bradenton, FL 34209, with the arrangements. They express their gratitude for the support during this difficult time.
