Allan William Johnson Jr, 87 of Bradenton, Florida passed away Saturday May 10th, 2025.
Born in Jackson, Michigan Allan's family moved to the Phillipsburg area. Allan attended the Phillipsburg school district, was a good student and an accomplished wrestler. He then graduated with the Class of '55.
Armed with degrees from Lafayette College and Fairleigh Dickinson University, Allan traveled the world working in sales in the steel manufacturing industry.
As a history major and someone who was always expanding his knowledge base, Allan was voracious reader with an impressive library of books.
Allan was also an avid fan of the game of golf, with memberships to such golf courses as Harker's Hollow, Oak Hill and the prestigious Oakmont Country Club.
Retiring in Bradenton, Florida Allan enjoyed his time with his loving friends in the Bay Shore Gardens community.
Allan is survived by sisters Judith Helm and Karen Lawrence, sons Allan W Johnson III, Mark Carling Johnson, granddaughter's Crystal Lynn Johnson, Elizabeth Ann Johnson and great grandson Syrus Jamal Johnson.
