It is with sadness, yet with the hope of the Resurrection, that we share the news that Allan Tremmel died peacefully in the early morning of July 15, 2026.
Throughout his final days, Allan was held close by the love and prayers of his family, his friends, and the loving communities of the Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida, especially Church of the Apostles in Parrish, Florida, St. Wilfred Episcopal Church in Sarasota, FL, and St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Lakewood Ranch, FL. We give thanks for a life marked by quiet faithfulness, humility, and genuine kindness.
Allan had a remarkable gift for listening, encouraging others, and offering a steady presence wherever he served. He was a devoted husband and father, and he faithfully supported the ministry of his wife, sharing in her calling with grace, generosity, and steadfast love. His leadership at Church of the Apostles, especially on the Bishop’s Committee, reflected the same servant’s heart that so many of us came to know and appreciate.
As we grieve his death, we also commend Allan into the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ, trusting in the promise that neither death nor life can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38)
Allan’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at St. Wilfred Episcopal Church, 3773 Wilkinson Road, Sarasota, FL 34233 at 11:00 a.m.
