Allen Frederick Yearick, Sr., aged 94, of Bradenton, FL, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, surrounded by his family.

Allen was born in Clintondale, PA on July 23, 1928, to Frederick Luther Yearick and Maida Blanche Reeder Yearick. He was a 1946 graduate of Jersey Shore High School. He married Dolores Ann Myers on December 1, 1950. They moved to Muncy, PA in 1954 to raise a family of eight children. There, they were members of the First United Methodist Church. Allen worked for McCormick Dray Lines for thirty-five years. He also founded Out-O-Doors, an RV sales and service business. In 1985, Allen and Dolores moved to Bradenton, FL where he worked for Sears, Scotty’s, and International Medical Laboratory. He and Dolores became members of Trinity

United Methodist Church, and later Oneco and Harvest United Methodist Churches. Allen was an avid hunter along with his sons. He loved studying the bible and singing in his church choir and barbershop group, the Sarasota Chorus of the Keys. He enjoyed playing cards and puzzles of all kinds.

Allen is survived by his wife of seventy-two years, Dolores; his children Mark (Diane) of Blanchard, PA, Craig (Linda) of Loysville, PA, Karen (Denny) of Linden, PA, Sheryl (Mark) of Cogan Station, PA, Dawn (Tony) of Greenwich, CT, and Karla (Clint) of Holmes Beach, FL; his siblings Connie (Bob) of

Williamsport, PA, Wayne (Renee) of Bradenton, FL, Joan (Claire) of Woolrich, PA, June (Richard) of Woolrich, PA, and Graydon (Patricia) of Montoursville, PA; his grandchildren Melinda, Brett, Tyler, Kelsea, Ethan, Kristin, Ashley, Madison, Christian, and Austin; and his great-grandchildren Lincoln and Korra. He is predeceased by his children Allen, Jr. (Gloria) and Pamela (Mark).

Interment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West Bradenton, FL 34209.
