Amanda Elizabeth Mack, 20, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on September 16, 2026. She was born on February 21, 2006, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Ronald and Tanya Mack.
Amanda was a remarkable young woman whose determination, strength, and passion touched the lives of many. She was a dedicated athlete who excelled both on and off the court. Her accomplishments reflected not only her extraordinary talent, but also the discipline, perseverance, and commitment she brought to everything she pursued.
Amanda earned her black belt in TaeKwonDo, an achievement that represented years of hard work and dedication. She was also a Division I volleyball athlete. After beginning her collegiate career at the University of Cincinnati in 2024, Amanda transferred to Eastern Kentucky University, where she played one season for the Colonels as a sophomore. She was set to start her junior academic and athletic year at College of the Holy Cross in August.
During the 2025 season at Eastern Kentucky University, Amanda appeared in 29 matches, making 26 starts and playing 98 sets. She recorded 204 kills, averaging 2.08 kills per set, along with 57 digs, 26 total blocks, and three assists.
Before college, Amanda’s volleyball career was already filled with extraordinary accomplishments. She played at IMG Academy during its inaugural season of volleyball. While at IMG, she was selected to compete in the 2024 Under Armour Next All-America Game and was a two-time Under Armour Next MVP.
Amanda’s high school career at Maryville was equally distinguished. She earned numerous honors, including two District 4 Tennessee Division I Class AAA All-State Team selections, a Region MVP award, two District MVP awards, three All-District First Team selections, a District Tournament MVP award, three District All-Tournament Team selections, two Region All-Tournament Team selections, and three Blount County All-Tournament Team selections. She was also named Team MVP in 2022 and Freshman of the Year in 2020.
Among her many other honors, Amanda was a 2022 USA Today High School Sports Player of the Year nominee, a two-time AVCA/MaxPreps Tennessee Player of the Week, and a member of the AAU 48th Junior National’s Open All-American Team in 2021. Perhaps most notably, she became the first player in Maryville history to reach 1,000 career kills.
Although Amanda’s athletic accomplishments were remarkable, they were only one part of who she was. She will be remembered for the dedication and determination she brought to her passions, the memories she created with those around her, and the lasting impression she made on the many people fortunate enough to know her.
Amanda is survived by her loving parents, Ronald and Tanya Mack; her sister, Jenna Lampman; and her brother, Brycen Gregg; along with extended family, friends, teammates, coaches, and all those whose lives she touched.
Amanda’s life was far too short, but the mark she left behind is lasting. Her strength, her determination, and her passion will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and in the many lives she touched throughout her journey.
We may never understand why your time with us was so short Amanda, but we are grateful for every moment we were given, every memory you left behind, and every life you touched. We trust that you are now resting peacefully in God’s care.
Until we meet again, Amanda, know that you are forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
