MANATEE COUNTY – Tickets are now on sale for Manatee County’s inaugural Symphony on the Sand, a musical and gourmet feast on Nov. 9 at Anna Maria Island’s Coquina Beach Park.  

Symphony on the Sand brings a full orchestra, chorus and professional soloists to the beach for an evening of elegant fun. Performers will play Broadway favorites, classical music and patriotic songs the entire family will enjoy. The event will be Saturday, Nov. 9 from 4:30 – 7: 30 p.m.

As a fun twist to the evening, organizers are asking people to share photos and comments about their experience to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram using the hashtag #Symphonyonthesand. Some of the best photos may then be used to promote next year’s Symphony on the Sand.

Two ticket categories are available: tickets for table seating are $100 per person and include food, wine and beer. There are also $35 general admission tickets available, with a cash bar option.
