Posted

BRADENTON — Experience an old-fashioned Florida holiday celebration this weekend at the Manatee Village Historical Park! The admission-free annual holiday event, “An Old Florida Christmas,” will be held on Saturday, December 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event includes a variety of activities and make-and-take holiday craft stations for all ages, as well as a homemade goods holiday market. More than 40 vendors are anticipated this year, including food trucks, live music, and photos with Father Christmas.

Event attendees can stroll the grounds to see the buildings decked out in Victorian and Florida pioneer-inspired seasonal décor. Explore landmarks like the Old Cabbage Head locomotive, Junior Junction playground, museum exhibits, and the Whistle Stop Gift Shop.

Manatee Village Historical Park is part of the Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller Historical Resources Department. This program is offered in conjunction with the Manatee County Historical Commission, Inc.

The park is located at 1404 Manatee Avenue East, Bradenton.
