Bradenton, Florida - Andree Pierette Platt, 88, of Bradenton, Florida passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2024.

Born on March 2, 1936 in Marseille, France to Henri and Yvette Burette. Andree was raised in Maisons-Laffitte and later worked as a bilingual secretary for NATO in Paris where she met American Army baseball player Ralph Platt. They married on September 17, 1960 and moved to the U.S. where Ralph pursued his professional baseball career, later settling in Bradenton to raise their family.

Andree effortlessly managed raising a family and having a career. She worked as an Interior Decorator, managed and owned tennis shops before retiring from NBTA. In their retirement, Andree and Ralph enjoyed summers in Provence.

She is survived by her husband Ralph, children Terry (Maureen) and Brigitte (Chip), and four grandchildren: Sean, Dylan, Anna and Ashley. Andree will be remembered for her love of cooking, decorating, gardening, tennis, and above all, her deep devotion to her family.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Instead, the family will gather for a private celebration of life. Andree will be laid to rest in both Bradenton and in Ginasservis, France.
