It is with great sadness that we announce that Andres Gonzales Tamoria, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, in Sarasota, Florida, USA.

He was surrounded by his wife, Praxedes, their children, Errick and Jennifer, son-in-law, Norman, and his grandchildren, Frances, David, Kristina, James, Nicholas, Lucas, and Sebastian. He is survived by his siblings, children (Myrna, Yolanda, Nel, Rolando, Addie, Joel, Ogie, Nestor, and Jerry), nieces and nephews, all his grandchildren, and in-laws. Fondly called "Manong Joy" or "Tata Simeon" by his close family and friends, Andres was born on November 30, 1930, in Iba, Zambales, Philippines.

He spent his professional years an elementary English teacher, a legal researcher, court interpreter, and later as a security officer. His dedication to his work was matched only by his commitment to his faith, living as a Christian who believed in the power of prayer.

He walked through life with a gentle demeanor and a generous heart, touching the lives of many with his kindness and his readiness to lend a helping hand. Beyond his professional and spiritual life, Andres loved spending time with his family usually over a cup of coffee and a game of checkers. Andres's interests were as humble as they were heartfelt.

He found joy in the simple pleasures-watching baseball, basketball, and boxing, listening to old songs, and engaging in games of solitaire and mahjong. His was a life well-lived with a quiet passion for the things that truly mattered making sure to make everyone feel loved, seen, and heard. Andres has left a legacy of love and wisdom. As one who always had a tale to tell, Andres's stories were a tapestry of life's experiences, woven with threads of humor, history, and humanity. He was always ready to share stories of yesteryears, imparting wisdom and laughter in equal measure. Though his life was nowhere near ideal and easy, he held no grudge or resentment towards anybody.

Up to his last moments, he talked about how only by asking forgiveness and forgiving can our souls truly be free. While we mourn his passing, we celebrate his life with pride and honor. Andres Gonzales Tamoria-a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend whose gentle spirit and generous nature have left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.

Though he has departed from this earthly realm, his life will continue to inspire and guide us. We bid farewell to a remarkable man, secure in the knowledge that his spirit will forever remain a guiding light in the lives of his loved ones. May his soul rest in peace in God's divine embrace.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 4 PM to 6 PM, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory: 43rd Street Chapel: 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL, 34209. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 9:30 AM, Followed by Cremation at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory: 43rd Street Chapel: 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL, 34209.
