Bradenton, Florida - Born in Texas and a Bradenton resident since 1946, Ann was a devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother. She married her high-school sweetheart, who she met in the church nursery at age 3. A life-long devotee of the ocean, she was a sailor, SCUBA Divemaster, and avid hunter of lobsters, scallops and stone crabs. She passed away on 14 June 2024 after a long battle with dementia. She is survived by her husband, Jim; her brother, David; her daughter, Allison; and 4 young grandkids. There will be a memorial service in her honor at First United Methodist Church in downtown Bradenton on 14 June at 2 p.m.
