Anna Mae Fazioli passed away surrounded by her loving family on Oct 18, 2024. Born in Latham NY on Feb 3 1934, she was preceded in death by her husband Felix F Fazioli, her parents Edwin and Jane Sicker, her son Robert A Fazioli, her brother Billy Sicker, her sisters Leigh Nugent and Genevieve Luther, her nephews Brooks Cairns and Joel Lavender, and niece Linda Jernigan.

She is survived by three sons Francis Fazioli, William Fazioli, and Joseph Fazioli (Margarita) and her grandchildren Sarah Fazioli (Jake), Nikolas Fazioli (Alyssa), and Bekah Fazioli and great-grandchildren Jacey Fazioli, Annabelle Davis, Avery Bolen, and Scarlette Davis, plus many nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and un-official family members whom she welcomed into her family with open arms and treated as her own. Even a 5th "bonus" son was later added (Hank Mallol).

She always said, "Once a Fazioli, always a Fazioli," meaning if you joined her family, you would always be a part of the family no matter what. Anna was the type of woman who never judged you and would always listen and be there for you. This led her to have many connections and friendships over the years that she cherished deeply.

In her early years, she worked on a farm and then as a switchboard operator, she cared for students as a nurse's aide and hosted in-home Tupperware and Toy parties. And then at a coffee shop in the Albany County Airport until she made her move to Florida in 1976, where she began working for the Florida Dept of Health in Bradenton, and would end her career working at the Department of Children and Families as a Supervisor in Bradenton, Fl until she officially retired to her Bayshore Gardens home.

She was a lover of music; she enjoyed singing and playing the accordion and piano. She recorded annual Christmas albums with one of her sons Robert and his band in his recording studio "Tric Trac Studios".

Her many other hobbies included playing bingo and slot machine games. She excelled at completing crossword puzzles and sudoku. She spent time traveling to see all of the lighthouses along the coast since they were such a passion of hers. She cherished her travels to the Grand Canyon and New York City, she loved going on cruises, and going to the Rays Baseball games, and attending plays/musical productions especially when accompanied by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was also a creative writer who wrote many children's stories and was working on a novel. She was a talented self-taught artist that created many projects with her hands from beautiful jewelry, hand sewn and machine sewn dresses, and even handmade dolls. Her talents, passions, and natural gifts knew no bounds.

In her final years, she spent her time at Heritage Park nursing home, where she, of course, created even more connections and friendships.

She spent a lot of time with her family and friends here creating a community and home away from home. She was even one of the founding members and President of the "Home Rollers Association" at the nursing home. It's here where she would mesh together her loving nursing staff and visiting family members, fostering yet again another extension of her love and inner circle.

As much as Anna loved people, she may have loved animals even more. She volunteered and cared for many animals in her lifetime. She and her husband did volunteer work with the Southeastern Guide Dogs by fostering puppies. Her most recent passion was supporting rescues in her city that help dogs find their forever homes. She also had many beloved family pets throughout her lifetime that meant a great deal to her.

So in lieu of flowers the family requests that any donations be sent to one of her favorite rescues in Bradenton, in honor and memory of her love for animals.
