Anna Schlake McClellan, 79, of Bradenton Florida, passed away on December 31, 2022 after a brief illness.
Anna was born on April 16, 1943 to Dora Morgan Daffron and George Bryant McClellan in Monticello, Kentucky. After graduating from Woodward High School in Cincinnati Ohio she began a career as an administrative assistant and later an Industrial Security Analyst within several defense contractors; Cincinnati Electronics, Xetron, and Northrup Grumman. She married Frank Schlake in March of 1978, and they lived in Cincinnati for a number of years before moving to Morrow Ohio, and then retiring to Bradenton.
She is survived by her husband Frank Schlake, her sister Ina Helton, her daughters Carolyn Nicholson(Bill), AJ Schlake and Jennifer Hammiel(Danny); her son John Schlake (Tammy) as well as grandchildren Hilliary Nimmo, Kassie Eves, Austin Schlake. Kole Gentry, Bradley Danielson, Lucian Betz, Alex Gentry, and Griffin Betz.
A celebration of a life well-lived will be held in the spring.
