Annie L. Moore Middleton, age 88, of Ellenton, Florida, was welcomed into the open arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 28, 2022.
She was born November 18, 1933, in Macon, Georgia and resided with her son in Ellenton. Although Hurricane Ian presented during her transition to her eternal home, the love of her family surrounded her. She was a retired bookkeeper and bank teller with a passion for working with numbers.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband of 30 years, Russell Moore; her parents Coley N Scott and Myrtice Scott (Lewis); her younger brother Bobby Scott. She is survived by her children, Lee Eric Moore and Wanda Sampson of Ellenton, Florida; Christa Garner (Moore) and Robert Garner of Juliette, GA; Michelle Garnto (Brooks) and the late Jeff Garnto of Dublin, Georgia; Keith Brooks and Rickey Brooks of Dublin, Georgia; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; her siblings Louise Chapman (Scott) and Ronnie Scott of Spring City, TN; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Anne’s warm smile, joy of life, and loving support of her family will be deeply missed. Her last wish was to have her services in her home state of Georgia and will be held there at a later date.
