Annual Keep Manatee Beautiful Golf Tournament Set for May 24

BRADENTON – Keep Manatee Beautiful is gearing up for its primary fundraiser of the year — the 19th annual golf tournament, which is scheduled for May 24 at the Tara Golf & Country Club. Entry fees for this four-person, best-ball scramble include greens fee, cart, range balls, team photo, goody bag, lunch buffet and an awards presentation.

Contests include Low Gross and Runner-Up, Low Net and Runner-Up, Clos­est to the Pin/Longest Drive Men’s and Women’s, Putting Contest, Dice Roll, and Raffle.

The four-person best-ball scramble will begin with a 1 p.m. shotgun start.  Registration costs vary. A hole sponsorship of $600 includes one foursome fee, name on event banner, tee and green sign­age, greens fee, cart, range balls and goodie bags.  A foursome without sponsor signage costs $320.  Sponsor signage can be purchased for $250 if unable to play.

The donation is tax-deductible and will enhance Manatee County’s community environments by enabling Keep Manatee Beautiful to continue its services.  Keep Manatee Beautiful’s team of volunteers is making visible improvements to the environmental quality of Manatee County.
