Anthony C. Gruppo, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 27, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of love, leadership, and service. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda M. Gruppo, his son Anthony C. Gruppo Jr. and daughter-in-law Laura Gruppo, and his daughter Tara Ann Karas and son-in-law Lumir Karas. He was the proud grandfather of Ainsley Jane Karas, Cecilia Juliette Gruppo, and Marina Jacqueline Gruppo, who were his constant source of joy and pride. He is also survived by his sister Phyllis Ann Snyder and brother-in-law Bruce Snyder, who shared in his lifelong devotion to family and purpose.

A visionary leader and entrepreneur, Anthony's career spanned decades of impact in the insurance and financial services industry. He served as an international CEO and Chairman throughout America and the United Kingdom.

Anthony was the author of eight books, ranging from self-help and leadership development to poetry, each infused with his unique ability to motivate and uplift others. His words inspired countless readers, reflecting his belief that leadership is not about titles, but about service and the empowerment of others.

Beyond business, he founded and funded The Gruppo Family Foundation, dedicated to creating opportunities and supporting communities. His generosity and vision extended far beyond boardrooms, touching lives in ways both profound and lasting.

In every role—leader, author, speaker, philanthropist, and mentor—Anthony embodied resilience and optimism. He encouraged others to embrace change, to pursue growth with courage, and to believe in the power of possibility.

His legacy will endure in the institutions he built, the books he authored, the foundation he established, and most importantly, in the lives of those he inspired.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Eagles Autism Foundation in memory of Anthony C. Gruppo. The Foundation funds innovative autism research and care programs that help improve the lives of individuals and families affected by autism.

A memorial service will be held on Friday July 24,2026, at 11AM at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory,43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209.
