Anthony "Tony" Giordano, 72, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on January 7, 2025. He was born on August 31, 1952, in Brooklyn, New York, to Vincent and Katherine Giordano.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Tanya; his son, Vincent (Jill); his father, Vincent; his sister, Lucille (Robert); his cherished grandchildren, Brandon, Gia, and Isabella; and his former wife, Donna. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Kimberly.

A proud native of Brooklyn, Tony spent his career serving the City of New York, including assisting during the aftermath of 9/11. After retiring, he fulfilled his dream of moving to Florida, where he enjoyed fishing, beach days, and soaking in the sunshine. Despite his move, he often reminisced about the "old neighborhood," sharing countless fond memories and stories of his roots.

Tony was a passionate sports fan, devoted to the Yankees, the Rangers, the Giants, and Notre Dame. Known for his vast knowledge of sports stats and trivia, he was always the go-to for settling debates or reliving historic games. He was also a lifelong rock and roll enthusiast, with a love for classic bands that served as the soundtrack to his life. Whether it was playing records or singing along to his favorite tunes, music brought him immense joy.

Tony's warmth, humor, and love for his family and friends will leave an enduring legacy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service to celebrate Tony's life will be held at a later date.
