Anthony J. "Tony" Slicis, Jr., born in Boston, MA, passed away on August 16, 2023 in Bradenton, FL. He was the son of Anthony and Stephanie.
Tony’s wife of 64 years, Mary Ellen, passed away in March. He is survived by his 5 children, Michael, Kathy, Nancy, Mary and Tim; brother, Steven and sister, Susan; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, he spent his career as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Western Electric (AT&T). Tony served as a Boy Scout Commissioner in Indianapolis, he was an avid reader and enjoyed participating in the many activities at Senior Friends in Bradenton. He was a very proud and dedicated volunteer at Blake Hospital for over 20 years.
His final resting place will be in the Memorial Garden at Saints Peter & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel will oversee the arrangements. Condolences may be made to www.brownandsonsfuneral.com.
