Applicant Withdraws Long Bar Pointe Map Amendment

MANATEE COUNTY – Manatee County officials today received a letter from Long Bar Pointe representatives stating they wish to withdraw the Comprehensive Map Amendment (PA1303), meaning it will not be considered for adoption by the Board of County Commissioners.

Commissioners were scheduled to hold a Jan. 23, 2014 adoption public hearing to consider the privately initiated amendment request to Manatee County’s future land use map for the 463-acre Long Bar Pointe property.

Since the applicant has withdrawn the application from consideration, the Jan. 23 meeting has been cancelled.
