Applicants Sought for Opening on Bradenton Code Enforcement Board

Bradenton -- The City of Bradenton is accepting applications for an open position to its Code Enforcement Board.

The Code Enforcement Board appointed and designated by the City Council upon recommendation of the Mayor with the authority and powers described in the City Code of Ordinances, including the authority to hold hearings, make findings of fact, render conclusions of law, issue orders and assess fines against violators of the city codes and ordinances.

Applicants must live in the City limits and have a general interest in the well being and upkeep of the City of Bradenton.

The seven-member board meets at 2:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month in the City Hall Council Chambers, 101 Old Main St. Attendance is important.

This is a volunteer position. Board members are not paid.
