Application Period Open for Children

MANATEE COUNTY – The application period to receive Manatee County Children’s Services funding is now open through March 21 for nonprofit agencies that serve Manatee County children and families.

This year, Manatee County will award approximately $7.2 million in Children’s Services grants to agency programs that benefit Manatee children who are considered abused, neglected, at-risk and/or economically disadvantaged. Applicants must be nonprofit agencies that are recognized as a corporation under the State of Florida and tax exempt under section 501(c) (3) internal revenue code.

Agencies that wish to apply are invited to attend a funding application orientation meeting on Wed., Feb. 5 at 9 a.m. at the United Way McClure Center in Lakewood Ranch, 4215 Concept Court, Bradenton, FL 34211.
