Arthur M. Podgorski of Bradenton, FL (formerly of Michigan City, IN and New Buffalo, MI) passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

Arthur is survived by his five children, Susan Ritter, Thomas Podgorski, Michael Podgorski, Carol Venkus and Matthew Podgorski, six grandchildren, Jessica, Aaron, Annie, Lisa, Nina and Max and eight great grandchildren, Kevin, Eve, Victoria, Magnolia, Ferris, Ephraim, Asher and Dinah. He was preceded in passing by his wife and mother of his children, Barbara and his second wife Rose Bustamante.

Arthur was born on April 5, 1931 in Michigan City, Indiana, and was raised in Michigan City, Indiana, served in the Navy and had a long career at Josam Manufacturing where he started out in sales, became the VP of sales and then CEO before retiring.

He loved camping and was scoutmaster of a boy scout troop for many years. He and Barbara enjoyed camping and travelling and visited 48 of the 50 states and went on several cruises. After his retirement, he and Barbara taught Country and Western Dancing as members of Amarillo Star.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, 6:00pm until 8:00pm, at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Bradenton Chapel, 912 53rd Avenue West, Bradenton, FL 34207.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 1:00pm, at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 Stare Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
