Arts and Entertainment Billy Rice Band to Rock Final Main Street Live of 2012

BRADENTON – The Billy Rice Band will play the final Main Street Live! street party of 2012, tonight on Old Main Street in downtown Bradenton. The free event will take place from 5-10 p.m. The live music starts around 6.

Old Main Street between Manatee and 3rd avenues west will close to vehicular traffic around 2:30 p.m., to allow for food sales, beer trucks and vendors to set up for the event, so please plan accordingly.

Main Street Live! occurs on the third Thursday of every month (except for July and August) and features live music from a new band each month along with various vendors. There is no charge or age limit to attend, but you must be at least 21 to get into the bars.

Please put your drinks in a plastic cup before leaving the bars to walk around on Old Main Street. Patrons will be prohibited from bringing alcoholic drinks outside of the bars once the street barricades are lifted around 11 p.m.
