Bradenton, Florida - BARBARA ELLEN CLARK (COUCH) 89, Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 18, 2024 at Discovery Village of Sarasota Bay. Barbara was born in Leechburg, Pennsylvania on August 19, 1935, baptized at Brackenridge Methodist Church and married at Bethel Methodist Church, Lower Burrell, to the late James Joseph Clark of Arnold on August 12, 1961. They were married 57 years. Barbara graduated from HarBrack High School and retired from US Steel Corporation of Pittsburgh where she worked in Administrative. She enjoyed golfing and traveling and was actively involved in The Eagles, Moose, Elks, DAV, and the Bradenton Pirate Boosters and other organizations.
"Aunt Barb" is survived by a Host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband James (JC) Clark, parents John & Elsie (Duck) Couch, Brother John A. Couch, Sisters Ada (Couch) Bouch, Ollie (Couch) Bracken, and Audrey (Couch) Leipertz.
Burial will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 10:30 am. Funeral arrangements are being handled by National Cremation and Burial Society in Sarasota, Florida. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Organization of your Choice in Memory of BARBARA E. CLARK.
