We all know how much construction is going on in Parrish and accept delays and blockages on a daily basis. Sometimes three or more sections under construction on one road.
My question is : "Who is overseeing the safety in these areas?" We have experienced some very unsafe conditions with construction, landscaping, etc. on these roads. Especially, Rye, Rutland and Golf Course. Unsafe for drivers and workers. Lanes blocked off poorly -you cannot tell where you are supposed to be driving many times. Workers in the road - no indication until it's too late. Dump trucks pulling out. No signage, no anything sometimes where roads are down to one lane.
Are these people trained professionals who are conducting road safety for the public? Please, someone address this safety concern for our county—there needs to be some oversight.
