BFD Offering 9/11 Anniversary Coins in ESMF Fundraiser

BRADENTON -- The Tribute to Heroes Committee is currently selling remembrance coins that commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on America.

The coins are $10 and proceeds go to the Emergency Services Memorial Fund, which was created after 9/11 by the Manatee County Fire Chiefs Association. Bring a check or cash to the Gene Gallo Central Fire Station, 1010 9th Ave. W., to buy the coins.

The Emergency Services Memorial Fund was set up to assist the families of local emergency workers killed or maimed in the line of duty.
