Billy Bush Johnson, affectionately known as Billy to his friends and family, completed his earthly journey on September 25, 2025, in Bradenton, FL. Born on April 20, 1940, in Columbus, GA, to the late Julius and Katie Clark, Billy's life was a testament to his unwavering kindness, wisdom, and selflessness. He was a beacon of support and love to all who were fortunate enough to cross his path.

After graduating from Manatee High School in 1958, Billy honorably served his country in the Navy, stationed at the Bethesda Medical Center, where he developed a strong sense of duty and commitment. His post-military career spanned over two decades in banking as a trusted loan officer, after which he embraced the role of a skilled General Contractor. Billy's professional journey did not end there; he dedicated another 20+ years to Staff Leasing, where he served as a Director of Unemployment, guiding many with his expertise and compassion.

Billy's heart was always with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Kathleen, and later found love again with his devoted wife, Carol Johnson. His legacy lives on through his children, Bruce Johnson and his wife Nikki, Andrew Johnson and his wife Nicole, and his sister, Jean Mimbs and her husband Lou. A proud grandfather to six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, Billy cherished every moment spent with them, from servicing their cars to being their personal chauffeur for school and practices. He was the quintessential family man, always there to teach his grandkids to drive or to offer a helping hand as the handyman for anyone in need.

Billy's Christian faith was the cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and interactions with everyone he met. His days were filled with the joy of lending support and sharing the wisdom he had gained throughout his rich life. His hobbies were simple yet profound; they were his family and friends. The love he had for them was his favorite pastime, one that he pursued with enthusiasm and joy. The words that best describe Billy are kind, wise, and selfless. He was a man who put others before himself, always ready to offer a word of encouragement or a helping hand. His influence and the memories he created will continue to resonate with all who knew him. Billy Bush Johnson's life was a beautiful tapestry of service, love, and dedication.

As we bid farewell to this extraordinary man, we celebrate the indelible mark he has left on the hearts of his family, friends, and community. His spirit, characterized by generosity and wisdom, will forever be cherished and remembered.
