Blues and Soul Icon Comes to Bradenton

BRADENTON – Memphis soul and blues icon Johnny Rawls will perform at Ace's Lounge on Friday February 15. The world-renowned recording artist has played with some of the biggest legends in the business and will bring both his popular classics and new material when he plays the legendary old Florida roadhouse in West Bradenton.

Rawls has been on the cover of Living Blues Magazine, where he has received the Critics Choice Award for Best Album of the Year three times. Rawls was even honored, along with Soul Blues legends Little Milton and Tyrone Davis, with a Blues Trail Marker at the original site of the Hi Hat Club in his birthplace of Hattiesburg, MS. 

Rawls tours constantly and has played before audiences worldwide from Europe to Japan and even Australia, as well as all throughout the United States. The combination of Johnny's smooth, soulful vocals; original music and polished stage presence guarantees a great night of dancing and music!
