Bobby passed through the valley of the shadow of death on October 31, 2024 and is now "absent from the body and face to face with the Lord." II Corinthians 5:8. In a place of "no more tears, no more pain, the old things have passed away." Revelation 21:4. This precious Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend is a testimony to the grace and a trophy of grace: SAVING GRACE; LIVING GRACE; and DYING GRACE. Saving grace: For by Grace are you saved through faith / faith alone in Christ and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9. Living grace: Grow in Grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ." 2 Peter 3:18. Dying grace: "For me, Living is Christ, dying profit. " Philippians 1:21.

Bobby was a person that the light of God always shined through. He loved to spread the word of Jesus. Many people knew God through him. He loved to say "Hello" to everyone; there was no such thing as a stranger. He was always willing to help anyone who was in need. He loved animals..

Bobby was born in Dallas, Texas on the 13th of July, 1953. He served in the Army from September 19, 1973 – September 26, 1977. He was the owner of the Drywall Doctor in Bradenton, FL. He continued to do drywall up until his passing. He was a wonderful Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend.

Bobby was proceeded in death by his father Kenneth Wayne Hammond and his Mother Barbra Faye Hammond; Daughter Dawn Nicole Carrell and Granddaughter Everly Hammond. Bobby is survived by his brothers Kenneth McHugh Hammond and wife, Chelle of Sandy, Texas; Kenneth Bryson Hammond of Tyler, Texas; Kenneth James Hammond of Little Rock, Arkansas and sisters Margaret Earlene Hammond of Kearney, New Jersey, Debbie Goff of Chilton, Texas ; His children, Sarah Ameen and Husband Brian of Hahira, Georgia, Becca See and Husband Daniel of Little Rock, Arkansas, Michelle Snodgrass and Husband Anthony of Waco, Texas, Robert Hammond of Harwood, Texas, Tyler Hammond of Harwood, Texas, Shawn Hammond and Fiancé Ashlei of Manor, Texas and 12 Grandchildren and 9 Nieces and Nephews.
