BRADENTON -- At Thursday's Land Use Meeting, commissioners breezed through a long agenda, approving 1,300 dwellings on 643 acres off of SR 70, approved a rezoning of 14 acres for 38 single family homes, and approved a Race Trac Market on SR 70 and 30th Street East. At the Race Trac location, the county will lose a National Registered historical house built in 1896.

Benac -- I just want to say thanks to staff, Doug Means, Joaquin Servia and others that for one reason or the other are no longer with us.
Baugh - There are lots of concerns in District-5 over traffic
Chappie -- The Complete Streets and narrowing is okay, if it is good with the Fire Department and the EMS. I saw a piece on Bay News 9, where there were share-a-road signs, identifying with bike paths and paths for pedestrians. We should look into that.
DiSabatino -- Great meeting, 15 items on today's agenda. We are getting things up and going.
Bustle -- Congratulations to Ron Schulhofer, our fleet is #3 in the nation.
